Fury Warrior Question, When to cast Algethar puzzle box?

As the topic mentions, when is the best time to cast this for optimal usage? It has a 1.5-2 second cast. Should it be done before all CD’s, right after? Example

-Throw Ravager at target
-Throw Spear/ Stand in spear
-Puzzle Box here?
-Press Macro for Reck: cast Recklessness, Cast Avatar

  • Odyn’s Fury

Would this be the best set up, or would you do the puzzle box at the start, prior to throwing ravager?

Also is this trinket better in keys over Bonemaw’s Big Toe? I ask because you get more uptime with big toe vs puzzle, as one CD is 2 mins, and the other is 3.

With Fury, yeah, pre pot it.
With Arms, you can use it while in Blade storm.

From what I’ve seen, throw ravager to allow it to gain a couple stacks, puzzle box, charge in, spear, buff macro gives me the best results.

Yep, pretty much this:

You need to throw ravager, pop the Algethar trinket which is a 2 sec cast, (charge + WW macro if at range), hit a mob with rampage to get enraged, then drop spear and stand in it, then click your macro for Recklessness + Avatar which also casts Odyn’s Fury, or if running thunderous roar, you can macro that into the Avatar step as well.

Since its a 3 min CD it fits perfectly into every other burst window. Biggest annoyance is other on use trinkets (most are 2 min) since they put both on a short 20 sec CD which means you need to track and pop those elsewhere for max uptime.

Edit: I was corrected on rampage being needed. It is only needed if you aren’t taking the Titanic Rage talent that adds enrage to Odyn’s Fury. The pre expansion patch had the order wrong and the enrage came after the OF DMG which is why I had that there, but that was fixed on launch and you can now drop it.

2s before pull:
Puzzle Box
Ravager (can manually prep it during the trinket channel)
Charge
Potion
Recklessness/Avatar/Spear of Bastion
Rampage
Crushing Blow x2 + Execute or Odyn’s Fury during Enrage window
Rampage, repeat.

The opener is slightly different when specced into Dancing Blades, and you delay Odyn’s Fury to refresh the Dancing Blades effect as it falls off, since the buff doesn’t stack with itself to extend.

I already did more than 45 AA mythic plus, trying to get the puzzle, is it that hard or I’m just unlucky?

Unlucky. My monk just got one after a couple runs, but her loot table is, like, less than half of a warrior’s.

I did so many times the same run, that I lost the joy in this game, I’m literally quitting the game because of that, I already killed 30 times bosses in raid HC and 20+ normal and I only looted 2 itens so far, got stuck at ilvl 402 for 2 weeks.

This must of been fixed because I can not use it while IN Bladestorm

Edit- if you spam it right before blade storm you can start the cast and spin.

Edit#2- you can macro it to Bladestorm/avatar
