Hey everyone,
On a server I used to play on in Legion, I collected one skull and the hilt, but never the other skull for the Dragonslayers skin for the artifact weapons.
Today, I finished leveling my Maghar Orc to 110. While trying on the heritage armor, I wanted a cool xmog for the weapons and saw that I had the dragonslayer skin unlocked for legion artifacts.
Is this a bug or is blizzard throwing fury warriors a bone? And to that, if it remains unlocked in this way for me, does it matter whether I complete 200 WQs from BFA or Legion? (I ask because at 120 with good gear the Legion WQs would be way quicker to complete along with current content WQs)
I honestly have my weapons on this character now transmogrified to the skin now if you would like to check it out. Any insight would be helpful, thank you!
How many colors do you have available to you in the axes? I got some of the recolors of hidden artifacts I didn’t have, by unocking them for other weapons, but not the original.
I noticed this first on my shaman–I got the other colors of the ele hidden artifact, when I had only picked up the enhancement hidden appearance. It took me a long time to get the ele one to drop.
I currently have the 200 WQ skin unlocked, but not the other colors. I logged in on the warrior that has 2/3 of the pieces and he has the skin variation unlocked as well.
I’m curious to see if completing the other requirements for skin tints on the new warrior will unlock the skin colors as well.
Yeah, if you unlocked the other tints with a different spec’s weapon, they show up as available even if you didn’t unlock the base form. I think at one point they said that you would have to unlock the base form to have access to those tints after Legion, but apparently they never implemented that restriction. I’m not complaining…
However, to unlock additional tints you have to complete the requirements on the character that actually unlocked one of the base forms in the first place. Progress on alts doesn’t count (except for a few specific tints).
