Whats going on here. Do the devs have problems with Fury warriors or something? Just had 4 massive nerfs, and then more class breaking nerfs coming with 11.0.5.
Looking at m+ logs Fury is middle of the pack, and still not touching mage, lock, hunter, or frost DK… and yet… full nerfs.
I thought the motto was going to be bring bad classes up to the good classes… not chunk the middle classes into oblivion for absolutely no reason…

Well… dont really care about the pve side of things… but in pvp their still chopping things up like nothing.
PvP changes shouldn’t affect PvE.

thats why i hate when my class is on top of the “statistics” list. the first spots always get gutted.
you wanna be just between the middle of the pack and the top dogs. thats the safer spot

Thats where we are rn though in m+ and yet getting STOMPED on next half patch.
As a Fury Warrior since the beginning I’m used to this. Fury Warriors have always been very gear-dependent. When they get great gear it really boosts their power, compared to many other classes. Blizzard then tweaks this via nerfs, some of which are needed, others of which are overzealous. The biggest problem is that Blizzard often balances the class around having top-end Best-in-slot gear. Those Fury Warriors that don’t eventually fall behind, doing lower damage than other classes. I’d love to see Blizzard break this cycle somehow.

No, they aren’t.
Yeah, and these are PVE changes aimed at PVE so.

Expand on these nebulous “nerfs” please.

The latest update reduces the target count before AoE reduction for Thunderous Roar and Odyn’s Fury from 8 to 5. It’s a bit of a valid gripe since other uncapped AoE specs get to keep their benefits at 8.
The reason Fury is overperforming in the raid is that all of the fights are almost tailor-made for the spec in terms of cooldown timing. If it was a different raid with less add spawns on 45- or 90-second intervals, they would not be topping charts.
About the only solace is that the latest changes don’t affect single-target at all.

I dont think our ST can get any worse than it already is. We’re legit doing wet noodle ST damage.

Mythic parses are an anomaly right now because it is the top percentage of the player base. I’m not disputing it’s bad in some cases, but Fury’s right in the middle of the pack for Heroic Kyveza. I discount Sikran because most groups play that badly enough that it penalizes warriors despite doing everything else correctly; the fight’s just easy enough that it still always dies.
you do know Kyveza is the real anomaly right? You cant miss your attacks against her (similar to like terros from DF), meaning all melee, but especially dual wield classes do more damage than they technically should to her. Silkran is the real ideal standard for ST damage.
