Why you do this?
I got all excited a weapon dropped, then very confused because it has less stats and finally deflated after learning it was a one handed weapon. Seems like a bit of an oversight with regards to the Fury Spec.

We shouldn’t have to though, that’s the thing.
There should be more loot spec in relation to this - Fury TG or Fury SMF. Those of us that choose TG (all of us) are being punished because SMF is for some reason still a thing.

Extreme weirdness. Arms gets 2h guaranteed, that is a workaround, but most fury warriors run 2x2h, that’s what they’re known for.
To be fair I do think it’s weird that arms, the spec named weapons, is not the one that lets you run 2x2h.

why? then you’d be essentially do the same thing. You’d have to right click go to loot spec and choose TG or SMF
What the fork does it matter if you have to simply choose arms instead???

yep if you set your loot to fury yes you will get 1hd weapons set it to arms for 2hd only drops.

this is why blizz should’ve just made it so fury could mog their two handers into one handers. satisfies those people who like single minded fury without the loot or balancing issues that come with it

I agree. There are some cool 1 handers that would look amazing on my mogs, but I can’t use them outside of prot. It’s dummy dumb. Who cares if my two handers are mogged. Why are there so many mog restrictions anyway. Let my mage mog into plate, I don’t care at all, and neither should anyone else. It’s an aesthetic glamour. It doesn’t matter one bit. The distinction between armor classes has not had an aesthetic difference since WOTLK

No it’s not just a name.
Fact is, you’re actually telling the game to give you Arms specific gear. If a boss drops 2H and 1H, swapping to arm also gives you arms-specific conduits. This sucks if the fight drops Fury conduits as well.
But if you don’t need conduits, then all good.
you actually get any conduit as long as its higher than what you currently have. loot spec is irrelevant

I’d have thought differently, given that conduits certainly seem catered towards certain specs, and they’re listed as same in the adventure guide.

the adventure guide does have them listed that way but as long as its an ilvl upgrade conduits will drop regardless of loot spec
Yeah single minded fury - the dps comes out about the same at the cost of quite a bit of stamina, but if you arnt interested in the extra health its a fun alternative to titan grip fury, and a little extra movement speed never hurts (though IMO it should be bumped to 10%).
