Hey guys! I have a quick question that i am stuck on.

I mean you can do anything you want to do.
If you’re having fun, it doesn’t really matter if something else is “better”
I’ve been Dual Wielding since I cleared Ulda and got the Sword of Omen to use with the Vanquisher’s Sword. On paper 2hander/MS spec is superior with 0 +hit gear, but I don’t care because DW is fun.
That’s the biggest thing that the number crunchers don’t understand.
People do things that are off-meta because it’s fun.
thanks for the reply,
im looking at pushing numbers on dps charts in MC and Ony…
if double slow 1 handers is better than slow / fast weapon than i will do that. My main reason for asking is because i got double Deathbringers…
Fast offhand is good for more Flurry procs and rage generation. You can use a slower offhand, it’s not as bad as using a fast MH. Basically, the best weapons you can get your hands on. That includes daggers from MC if you can’t get your hands on any other OH weapon.
Slow MH/Fast OH then for sure.
Make sure you use sharpening stones on your weapons too, seeing as you don’t have windfury procs.
thats what i was thinking, But with double deathbringer, would you use 2, or use 1 with dal OH
Just make sure to hit the 9% hit cap also. Own the meter. Go balls to the wall. Prove that fury warrior is the best. It’s all about being top dog on the charts.
exactly what i am trying to do
was just making sure that i was correct on using Slow / Fast is better than slow / slow
you should be aiming for 2 identical speed weapons at all times.
why if i may ask?
rage is comes in evenly.
Faster offhands eat flurry procs.
but wouldnt faster flurry’s increase AS on MH not OH?
Your next 3 swings are at 20% faster.
It means it’s possible for 2 of those attacks to made with your offhand instead of swinging faster with your mainhand which hits more often.
I don’t know how it works it’s jsut been something fury warriors have been telling me for years.
so in your thought process,
I should go with the double Doombringers vs Doombringer / dal
ideally double doombringers.
sorry went to bed, lol, ok thanks for the imput!
Not being invited to the raids is also a lot of fun. Using a less competitive but still optimized spec falls under “I find this more fun”. Botching your spec and playing poorly falls under “I haven’t put any effort into learning how my class/spec functions”.
Vanilla Raiding is boring, half the raid can AFK and still get timely clears.
The real action is alt leveling, learning the intricate ins and outs of each class and finding ways to make non-meta better than meta.
Never forget, the class development post Vanilla into BC and WotLK was highly motivated based off what players were trying to do yet talent trees and gear did not provide directly. Granted such things have long since come to pass.
Don’t run around in piss in others cheerios that want to make that same level of exploration to see if they can find something. Shooting down someones tale and avocation to have fun in a game is quite silly. Do try to understand the variety of entertainment outlets is proof enough fun is decided by the individual.
How does what you just said differ from what I just said? A for fun spec is still optimized even if that optimization won’t make it competitive. A botched spec made without thought or effort is just laziness.
I was talking more about me using DW sub-60 without any +Hit gear than people attemping to raid with Oomkin or Ret spec.
