As we can tell from the warcraft log,the impact of the nerf is further exacerbated by the fact that Fury Warriors already struggle with single-target damage compared to other classes. Currently, they rank at the bottom of the damage charts, particularly in raid encounters where sustained single-target damage is crucial. This deficiency not only undermines the class’s viability in end-game content but also frustrates players who have invested time into mastering their Fury Warrior builds. When combined with the recent nerf, this places Fury Warriors in a particularly challenging position, diminishing their effectiveness and the thrill of playing the class.
What makes me more sad is that there is no exciting change for fury warrior in the up coming 20 anniversary. It makes me feel hopelss about this class.
People should just unsub and tell them the reason why. Even if you resub once you cant play, I know that’s something Blizzard looks at unlike forums.
I think you may be reading into Logs too much. Not saying youre wrong but Logs dont tell the whole story.
Develoeprs, I believe it was Greg Street/Ghostcrawler, have come out in the past and said Class Balance isn’t a metric they track for people unsubscribing.
Plus you’d probably never get enough players to do so to create the impact where Blizzard would be all hands on deck making changes.
Waitwhat???
Not that I’m doubting you but I would love to see the actual quote.
From Ghostcrawlers Tumblr Post in 2017 when someone asked him a similar question.
So doing nothing is better?
No. Giving solid feedback and voicing your concern is what you should be doing. Giving good feedback is a skill that takes time to develop, but running around and dooming and stating that developers need to be fired isn’t it.
oh no!!!
How did liquid miss this and bring two fury warriors to the world first? They are so bad.
Ah yes, because everyone plays in the same level of the best raid players in the world. Obivously everyone has the time, money, gold and a team that supports you… Also, the post says specifically about Single Target, as in for the Raid, 90% of the fights have adds and cleave, coincidentally the intermissions on when these adds spawn allign perfectly with Fury major cooldowns, that got nerfed and capped.
Also the nerfs didn’t hit YET, so ofc they’re still gonna bring a spec that’s nieche for the raid. Next patch tho…oof
Because the nerfs aren’t coming till November and the damage profile to burst adds is still needed. You can’t just say, “So and so had 2 so-”
To be honest though, I’m surprised they didn’t have more mages.
probably because they had people who played better warriors
Don’t worry, you will get some smug warrior who will come in here and tell you it’s fine because they still feel strong in their mythic raiding guild.
These are not players living in reality, they live in a bubble with other delusional people.
You can show them data, try and reason with them.
Explain the stupidity of these soft target caps, the abysmal single target and how nerfing our burst guts the whole spec without compensation because of world first raiding certain phase of a certain boss, blah blah that 99 of players will never see.
Yeah smart business and better balancing
