Heya Warriors,
How r u all? I play Outlaw rogue and my main interest is M+. I've decided to roll an alt to keep the game fresh and will probably play Horde to experience the story line. My main question is how viable is Fury in M+?
My main interest in classes are mobility, apm and a nice toolkit. I have heard Fury lacks utility and may lag behind on invites because of this. I've looked into DH and WW, to which I both have at 110 also but, I find DH excessively boring (havoc) and WW just doesn't feel the same as in legion. Granted I do know 120 and azerite setups could change this but, you can't exactly play a 110 trial with this in mind.
I'd really appreciate any feedback. Thanks guys
Fury is about as good as Arms in M+ - slightly weaker on average, but still good. You'll be fine if you decide to roll one.
Well, fury has cleared as high a keys as arms, they really have different strengths. Due to arms toolkit, it is slightly better suited for m+, between Dstance/Second wind choice, and DbtS being a strong defensive.
That said, for raw damage, they're actually equal. Arms has truly incredible AoE burst, which on tyrannical weeks plays perfectly. Make large, en masse pulls, and quickly burst them down.
Fortified is more fury's style. The pulls tend to be on a smaller size, no more than two packs at a time usually, sometimes only one. So, 4-5 targets, consistently, and the fights last a bit longer than the giant tyrannical pulls. Sustained cleave is fury's strongpoint.
For other affixes, it varies. Fury is better for grievous and explosive, while arms is better at bolstering and necrotic, on and on.

Compared to DH or rogue, warrior is going to fall short at higher keys. Usually, the utility lack starts becoming truly noticeable around 16 with an organized group, and the damage it can put out doesn't matter as much as it's inability to give much extra special (more important than anything, no way to handle infested)
If you're looking to push that level of keys, I would advise rogue or dh. If not, and you prefer warrior playstyle, I would strongly advise to play arms or fury. Take it from someone who has been quite "hardcore" for years, you do better if you're enjoying it.

Hey thanks for the replies guys, I greatly appreciate it! I definitely am gonna stick to fury and might try out a bit of arms. Loving fury so far
From a midrange perspective ( 7-10 keys). I find it really depends on the pull style and affixes. As mentioned above arms does better on big pulls typically while I do better on fury with single and double pack pulls.
I will say that besides lack of utility, (rallying and int shout plus AP buff unless specced into storm bolt) fury brings good dps and mobility making it easy to get out of avoidable damage.
I have little problems pugging into keys as fury provided I'm queuing into something appropriate to my io score and have never felt like the spec was a hindrance to my group, I do miss shockwave though.

Yeah my bad, piercing howl and dragon roar have had some clutch moments for my groups when tank was taking a beating and we did not have frost mage or other aoe slows. It's also good in shrine, td and other places where mobs can run at low hp and potentially aggro others
