Yeh I will just hit whirlwind again and take the 100dps loss. I cant be bothered with it in my rotation, it needs a buff.
Hell i feel that Slam is just an ability that should become a different ability as the warrior levels and just gets completely written off later⊠like Primal Strike is/was for shamans.
They need to simply rework Rage entirely. Furyâs only use for it is a single ability⊠Arms is essentially swimming in it, having more GCDâs and proc resets where they never need to really touch Slam as a fillerâŠ
Arms needs a lot of haste. Start of a new xpac and arms is starved.
It is, Arms is broken. Colossus is terrible, a hard movement pause of any duration doesnât work for a warrior in PvP or chain pulling M+, itâs completely dumb! Thatâs all on top of rage problems and haste.
I am of the personal opinion that Fury has been better than Arms since Legion Prepatch. Always has, probably always will be. But whatâs fine, its just my opinion and thats why we have different specs. I know there are many folks here who love pooling resources for a giant colossal smash.
Fury and Arms have incredibly opposing design philosophies.
Its ok arms has historically been very good in pvp for a loooong time. Fury has a chance to shine now. No problems with it.
In M+ Ret does great, and has a great toolkit for the content. In M+ youâre not being attacked by multiple players with tools you dont have.
This was true once, but itâs been a long time since this was the case.
Fury was the âpool resourcesâ spec in Legion during Nighthold, but Arms hasnât really held that design in a long time. At most, itâs âwait to Execute, so you donât bankrupt rage for Mortal Strikeâ, but the spec has been sped up in its cycle so much that the downtime here is microscopic to what it once was (thank goodness).
Right now, Arms just kinda blows. It just canât push damage like Fury can, and both Colossus and Slayer feel lacking (aside from haste). At this point, Iâm thinking Arms needs more power out of Colossal Might, but the Hero Talents leave a decent amount of wriggle room for tuning. Us having very little haste right now is a major blow to the flows. Going for 30-40% to 10% is agony.
