I have the worst luck trying to get new weapons, have never seen a weapon drop in a ONY and only 1 in BWL and MC i lost both rolls cause RNG hates me. I currently use krole Blade and Flurry axe because getting drops in any dungeons just doesnt happen. Is there anything craftable that would work for Fury spec that would be an improvement. Been rocking current weapons since mid Dec. Tirted of watching myself slowly slide down the DPS meters because im being out geared. Also to vent further i went two months without winning a roll on any drops period.
Sounds like you need a guild with a fair loot system and not just roll-offs.

This doesn’t feel like a very helpful comment. Maybe he can’t raid on a set schedule? Maybe he just doesn’t want to be guilded and can pick up pugs? Either way…
There are options, but they’re not overwhelming. If you’re an Orc, slapping on an Annihilator is pretty good for the overall good of the group. The axe from Alterac Valley is pretty solid as well. (It’s not crafted but it’s quite good.)
Krol Blade is nice, but it’s low damage. Maybe your best bet is to go 2H fury and grab yourself a Nightfall + Unstoppable Force?

yea contemplated but we are using ret paladins for the nightfall roll
Also having bad luck with weapons here because swords just won’t drop.
But I also just purple parsed every fight in BWL with 2x 95 parses using quel+mirah’s. #1 overall DPS for the entire instance (guild parsed at ~70% overall). The only raid loot I have even received is flamegaurd gauntlets + ony necklace + wristguards of stability. I still need SGC + cape of the black baron to finish my BiS though.
I went for max DPS on my weapon since only 1 ability even matters for topend, and it’s going to be like 5% of your DPS anyways. When I’m popping trinkets + CD’s it even helps with dumping rage quickly.
The fight club discord may say stormstrike hammer or dal’s set are better, but I’ve done both and I saw about a 10% increase going to Quel. When I ran their numbers I also saw that it’s puts thrash blade MH at higher DPS than VisKag…
Thrash does not sim higher than Viskag. Nor does it outperform it. Brute force of visk is just more powerful even tho the proc is weaker. However, using Thrash up until you get a raid weapon is your best option because the proc is almost 4% and scales with ap and other gear very well.
buy an axe of deep woods surely it cant be that much and it works wonders with flurry axe before DB
Also you could try AV rep as others have said for frostbite and farm for a bone slicing hatchet in Strat
Another option is to just consult some lists and get an idea of whats reasonably obtainable.
OEB is also a great starter raid weapon and you can do pretty good parses once you learn 2h style, while you wait to swap to DW. My warrior has the same problem as yours and until i get edgemasters im stuck with 2h for the most part

Do AV get the blue axe, it’s solid.
If he can’t devote the time to the game then he’s naturally going to fall behind, that’s how RPGs work.
The AV axe is pretty good, I recommend it if orc (debatably better than deepwoods)
However fret not for either you are trash dps or you are dead
If you’re having trouble getting good weapons consider being the raid’s annihilator guy. Have them craft you one and you’ll be much appreciated.
We have a 2h fury war doing competitive DPS with the AV axe. It’s hard to gear a fury warrior, lots of competition for every piece. But hey, we do pretty good even in blues. Just keep at it.

I was pulling record parses with just Argent Avenger and Mirah’s Song in the beginning. You’ll still scale with gear, and weapons will come eventually. Later, you’ll have 10 man raids to supplement gearing.
Just want to point out that OP is alliance, so it’ll be Stromstrike Hammer not Frostbite.
