Funny thoughts about DDOSers

My brain is dumb and I like to imagine a bunch of angry neckbeards scheduling a time to DDOS WoW.

Or if someone is angry, I can’t imagine some dingbat convincing their friends for a DDOS attack; heck, I could barely convince my friends to go hang out for game night!

I feel like the DDOSer is probably alone. Maybe it’s my luck but I think it would be hard to find a friend who wouldn’t try to stop you.

Lol I like to think some lvl 60 died in Hardcore and this is why we’re being attacked.

Either that or some GDKP guy who’s really mad they can’t do it in SoD.

It’s a weird time for a DDoS attack, not a new expansion release or anything, just an average day.

Probably angry Overwatch people.

It’s definitely not the 5 people still playing Heroes or the 13 people on Starcraft. I doubt it’s the WoW people either considering half the population now are bots that probably don’t want a disruption in their profit margins lol.

Edit: I would mention Diablo but I’m pretty sure most of those people are playing Last Epoch now lol.

This happens every time I shift to cat form. You know, being a dog and all. It’s so unnatural it blows the servers up.

Scumbags usually hang out with scumbags. Good people rarely hang out with garbage.

think about this. all of my websites are just informational crap. Theres literally zero benefit to hacking them. Yet some basement dwelling self loathing clown was hacking them over and over for like two years. lol.
I think most of them are just pathetic losers who lash out at the world thru hacking.

Agreed. You are who you surround yourself with, like calls to like and such.

They aren’t even hacking. Most are just script kiddies running someone else’s program.

This.

They didn’t create anything, just pick a list of target IP addresses. Their server (source) farm is often already compromised and can be purchased the same way you used to buy credit cards.

Deploy a fork() script onto your GCP or Azure cloud of compromised host, using a basic C/C++ or script targeting a host, LB or VIP, and suddenly you think you’re good.

Weird how some script kiddies’ piddly little computer can basically shutdown servers as big and as strong as Blizzard’s…
