OInly problem I have with that is we are in the middle of a war, that the other side is winning, using underhanded tactics, and Baine is like “Ohhh NOOOO, we can’t possible sink to these levels to potentially win this!”

Realistically we don’t have a sliver of a chance to win this war. Blizzard busies themselves empowering the Alliance characters and adding more and more superweapons to their arsenal, while the horde has… blight and a banshee?

You mean a Banshee with so much plot armor she could likely solo most of the alliance if they had their way? Alliance may have all these superweapons yet they are written in a way that they never use them.

Also if they really wanted underhanded, they could have just set the city on fire burning a large amount of civilians alive like horde did with Teldrassil. I mean Sylvanas wouldn’t mind the extra bodies to rez as free soldiers right?

This is the truth. If we wanted to destroy the zandalari empire we could have then and there during BoD. Notice how we sent a very small fleet to actually assault the city. 1 galleon and 6 battleships.

Kul tiras alone has 16 galleons and dozens of frigates. As for the alliance as a whole we don’t have any knowledge of the fleet sizes but we do know they have several airships as well that none of were committed to the assault.

Quite simply The alliance could have wiped zandalar off the map but that wasn’t the goal. We were not there to genocide them.

Okay, had you said that Grong said that (I have not done the Battle for Dazar’alor Horde side, so I have never seen him say that), it would have helped you a lot.

Grong, in his empowered state, has the intelligence of an Orc. When we started, he was quite intelligent and only wanted to help stop the Zandalari. So, your statement that he said to us that he wanted to “commit mass genocide” is incorrect.

This bit is actually comical. Apart from the fact that killing goblins or gnomes in their hundreds is always fun, a no longer secret enemy base in spitting distance from the capital should probably have alerted the authorities, Zandalari or horde and garnered some kind of military response.
