Can we please do something about delves like this where you have to jump down to get to it. Did this many times, and there have been occasions where I somehow jump in the wrong spot and land and die. Just add a slow fall or expand the water area.
I’ve died more than once jumping down.

I just bop myself whenever I jump down. Died too many times thinking “blizzard wouldnt make you jump and die no way, they calculated your starting X and it is matthmatically impossible to die theres water down there”. Boom dead
The game pushes me to the side to die.
Or a Priest… Levitate comes in handy when ya need it to. ![]()
I turn around and walk backwards off the edge and haven’t missed the water yet.
That pretty much has you fall straight down.
Basically every class has a means to prevent a fall. Just use that. Never trust a dead drop in a delve.
While we’re at it, add Rookery to this list. The absolute rage I feel when I die from the water drop in that last push of the dungeon with 5 minutes left on the timer is hard to truly overstate.

I did enjoy timing a good levitate cast before hitting the ground. Glide just makes controlled descent so much better. ![]()

I never died jumping, but I died by jumping down, afking and coming back drowned.
Screw that section after the first boss falling down to the platform. DFC is kinda in the same boat.
I don’t think I’ve ever survived that drop to the last section in the Aberous raid on my warrior, even with heroic leap.
I think that’s a latency thing, though. I’ve never had a problem in a delve but I still slowfall before I hit the water.
It sucks even worse when they count that as a death on your death tally.
No Shaman or Death Knights sneakily hitting you with Water Walking or Path of Frost before you hop down, right? If I’d choose to, I could kill people by hitting them with Water Walking on drops into water.
The game is supposed to shunt you towards the water - occasionally this doesn’t happen, and I have no idea why it doesn’t and you keep your previous vector.
No. That would be funny. It’s the dungeon itself and a bug that has been endlessly reported on from day one that they haven’t fixed.
They had to put in some measure of difficulty if they were going to hand out Mythic Plus Gear in Delves.
This is it.
Then how do you explain the existence of the very same issue in the water drop in Rookery?
