Don’t lock roll-defining runes behind rep grinds and pay walls please. That’s just dumb. Very disappointed right now. Been having a ton of fun finding the rest of the runes, only to be hit with this brick wall. I wanted to run alts in SoD, but dumb grinds are a no go for me. It’s Season of Discovery, not Season of Grinding. I know you guys are more creative that this!

Yeah it’s really short-sighted design because these things will essentially be locked for alts unless they plan to lift the grind after raising the level cap.
Yeah, I’m pretty burned on lock. Rolled one because I wanted to tank the early dungeons as meta, didn’t plan to tank the raid. I’m 25 and done with the dungeons and meta just got figured out.
Just went to the rof rune, had 8g, bought the 5g bomb and some other lock sitting afk next to the rocks took it because I wasn’t spam clicking since I didn’t know what would happen.
Lock was really fun at first but I’m not feeling the travel and grinds needed for a lot of the other runes since they’re deep in ally territory, like wetlands and red ridge. I might play it some as an alt but it didn’t turn out how I thought it would before release.

So you basically just don’t want to play the game? Our end game is like… 4 leveling zones, and you can’t be bothered with them lmao.
i think and hope that they only found the location for alliance only but i agree with you, tanking runes should be discovered as you lvl so you can progress in dungeons while tanking

it was figured for alliance side, not for horde side apparently, according to wowhead

That’s not true, according to wowhead, it says they list the steps, but is incomplete. The current steps are only speculation.

earlier, i saw someone in trade chat who was forming a group to tank rfc on his warlock, apparently he found a blood ritual in tirifal glades by the scarlet monastery place, i tried to check by myself but i guess i was trolled
Wouldn’t be so bad if the waylaid supplies weren’t capped at unique 1.
Pretty dumb to have a rep that you can’t really finish due to a dumb amount restriction.

Lol if the whole game to you is travelling through level 30 zones at 25 just to farm elites in enemy territory, then yeah, I “just don’t wanna play the game”. You have fun with that though, I’ll be playing another class in phase 1 that was actually thought out.
no, according to wowhead, horde can do the alliance steps to get the rune, but said rune has not been found for horde side
Its an MMORPG, the mode has been out 2 and a half days. You should have to grind and work towards getting rewards in these types of games.

sure, but when role/spec defining runes are locked away like this it feels bad. if it was an optional rune like say Demonic Tactics or Soul Siphon then that’s all fine and well, but the fact that Metamorphosis, the single reason several thousand people rolled lock in the first place, still hasn’t been found is quite insane (it took less time for the secret finder discord to find the Waist of Time transmog (or was it demon goat pet?) and that involved literally clicking on a pebble in the middle of a fatigue zone).
Rogue tanking, if it’s supposed to be a thing, would be nice to get early on, so rogues can tank… while leveling… imo.
This seems to be a pretty valid point, imo.

It’s going to be annoying for sure, but I WILL be a Rogue Tank.
Time to make some alts and get those professions up!
(It’s probably a good idea to do this anyway if you want to be self-sufficient)
Nah nah, you claimed that the trouble of making you run around all of the ally zones was what caused you to lose interest. AKA, it was too much work. That -is- phase 1. Rolling another class won’t change that.
