Much like the parade of pink elekks or bird mounts during MoP outside of the alliance shrine on Darrowmere during MoP, what kind of little events do you guys plan on doing with your guild(s) or friends in Classic while bored? PErsonally, I could go for a run from Darnassus to UC without any armor or a shirt.

They’ll be around if you check your server fourms, i’ve made a few myself on P servers, i wonder if we’ll get any art teams again. I know on One Server we had a bunch of people draw some epic Vanilla wow backrounds and stuff, and put in a put of gold for three place’s i think it was ED the pot was up to like 5k for first place.
I mean, I love dark souls, if that is any indication of my love of grinding and painful learning experiences. Another might be a basic mount parade from SW to IF around level cap.
Something we did as a realm - the Running of the Bulls, the Zombie Invasion, and other variants.
A day would be planned, and on that day all the players who wanted to join would roll level 1 characters of the relevant race (tauren = bulls, undead = zombies). Some high levels would march along to try to form some defense because level 1 characters aggro everything.
There would be a path planned. With Running of the Bulls, it was from Mulgore to Barrens to Ashenvale to Darkshore, trying to get on the boat across to the tree, and praying we’d make it through Darnassus in one piece. Usually the boat was the crux point, because by this point we’d gotten flagged no matter what and some Alliance players would deliberately show up to stop it (and others would try to defend us). Zombie invasion usually went from Brill past Undercity into Silverpine with a final goal of reaching Ironforge, though that could prove painfully hard unless we had enough high-level escorts.
Wall jump events, too bad it won’t be in!
Boy Darksouls can be beat at level one without taking a hit if you’re good enough, a Darnassus to Under city death run would kill you regardless of skill. There’s looking for a challenge then theres just masochism.

The running of the gnomes started on Scarlet Crusade-US. Would be cool to see that make it over to classic.

I’m planning on having this event where I camp in north Stonetalon Mountains and kill low level horde and force them into a 20 minute graveyard run.
Another event I’m planning is where I kill the blood elf escort NPC right outside of Ratchet in The Barrens and waste the horde group’s 30 minutes of time and prevent them from getting the exp/lame gear reward.
Some pleasure cannot be gained without some pain. Oooh, found a nifty puzzle box…

I’ll be playing horde and will be sooo hyped for that first Stormwind Raid.
Its going to feel soo epic.
Phasing and flying mounts really killed city raids for me on retail.
I look forward to steamrolling Crossroads, personally. Dunno, may give Horde a go for once. Streaking through the Barrens sounds like a good idea with no drawbacks.
LOL, blood elf - ah, the joys of them changing high elf models to the scrawny belfs pre-TBC.
Check that for what Gilthares originally looked like, or you might just pass him by thinking he’s just a pesky night elf.
