Sometimes I hate you Blizzard. I finally had a way to level my alts without cringing through the boring monotonous leveling system. Now it’s gone.
Can’t have you levelling too fast, now. Blizzard is still milking that retention cash cow.

Grinding mobs in one area over and over is definitely not boring or monotonous!
But yeah I think its dumb to nerf things like this. Leveling in wow is nothing but a pointless formality these days. Let people do it however they want.

On one hand, this is definitely a clear-cut case of Blizzard wanting to clamp down on players leveling too fast, as leveling factors into their metrics.
On the other hand, part of what made WoW successful was the relative ease of solo-leveling, that solo-leveling in WoW was often one of the most competitive ways to level up. The existence of Cobalt Assembly killed my interest in leveling any other way, and I would simply not level up a character if I didn’t have a friend on who could power level an alt.

I didn’t grind anything, I paid somebody 200k to do it for me. Blizz didn’t like that.
What metrics are they looking at? When you get burnt out, an alt is fun to play. However, the game doesn’t actually start until you’re max level (and I’d argue until you’re geared, but a lot wouldn’t agree).

You think that was fun? It’s crazy. Some players actually can’t grasp how having a character stand in one spot while it’s player goes AFK and gets leveled to 70 in 2-3 hours is a degenerate play pattern and is terrible for the game? Amazing. Then those same players say ‘why don’t the devs listen to us.’ I’ll tell you why, it’s because you can’t be taken seriously…

I’m pretty sure what he means is you give them 200k to join their group and you stand afk while they kill everything and you get xp.
I thought they had already changed it though to require tagging the mobs yourself, but maybe not.

I play the fun part of the game. Why would I enjoy leveling? They’ve dumbed it down so much it’s nothing but running in circles for hours on end.

You admitted you pay for leveling. There’s no doubt you pay for everything else because if you’re too lazy to do the easiest thing in WoW, I can’t imagine you can handle the end game.

You can look at my profile and statistics. I clearly don’t pay for anything (outside leveling).If I did id have fired whatever service I was using ages ago.
