got a baby to care for so I was wondering if there is any specific classes other parents find more fun to play especially with parental duties/work/etc…
She is only 2 months old almost 3 but just came home yesterday and our first so kinda of don’t know wth were doing and adjusting at the same time. yesterday was the first day was smooth until late evening then it was complete hell; non stop crying. I do have other things to take care of too like dogs and just basic stuff thats not too much of a concern
im not super concerned about doing content like raiding and high M+ just planning to enjoy the game and use it to relax in my down time. but also want a class i can eventually consider maining when im not so worried about being a new parent.
I think it’s less about the class and more about the time you’re dedicating yourself to the game than anything. Nothing wrong with slapping a few Horde in the BG’s or something while kiddo is snoozing, but if you end up trying to do something that locks your time up, then that’s not healthy or safe. Just my thoughts as a parent.
The only classes that will let you get up with a seconds notice are rogue and druid. If you pick Night Elf as a race, their racial can also let you drop combat and hide quickly, but it has a cooldown…but it could open up other class options.
Druid is probably a solid pick long-term since they are the only class with 4 specs and can fill all roles.
A little open world pvp is always a good time killer and you can stop whenever. Maybe give Druid a go. Down the road some part of Druid will be good in all content.
I would imagine some class with a pet would be appropriate, so that you can step away safely and not bother about open world mechanics. Or a stealth class, so you can hide everywhere when afk.

I suggest a BM Hunter. It’s decent enough in M+, you can solo things with ease, and your pets will do the heavy lifting if you have to suddenly go AFK (and you can feign death).

Parents generally get frutrated alot over their daily routine , so to get rid of your frustration roll a warrior 
Night Elf Beastmaster Hunter.
Shadowmeld and camouflage for quick afk, and BM is a simple to pick up ranged DPS with a pet that does decent damage.
Can’t go wrong imo.
