And people still seem to blame Blizzard.

I’m kinda baffled. You can change the UI to how you like it. If it’s not working for you it’s because you suck at optimizing your screen layout.

Are y’all asking for Blizzard to make the choices for you? Or is it too many choices? What’s the problem?

I’d like to make the Extra Action Bar much smaller, but this does not seem to be an option.

It doesn’t seem THAT user-friendly-all-encompassingly-adjustable to me! :sob:

Idk if that’s a UI issue as much as it is a loading in right now with so many people issue.

how about the ability to change the width of the chat window or the quest window? How about the ability to move the bags over so they don’t interfere with the action bars when you click on something in the bag that could be put in a bar. How about the ability to make the calendar icon big enough to see? How about the ability to make the system icons (mounts, etc) large enough to see, or to be able to move them? How about the ability to change the size of the mini map?

Thats just from 5 minutes of fiddling to try and get things so they were not all on top of each other. I don’t think “fully customizable” is the correct term here.

Changing the button size should change the bar size. In fact, at this time, changing the button size, number of rows, or number of buttons is the only way to change action bar sizes, until that changes. :wink:

  1. Better customization of raid frames. I don’t want them that big and I don’t need to see the group number. It’s not that hard to count rows.
  2. Customization of cast bars. Bigger,timers. etc. Actual customization of target cast bars.
  3. Better bar customization. Only visible on mouse over, lower buffer between buttons, more bars for people who want them. Addons do this. Why not the new UI.
  4. Better unitframes. I don’t need to see the player on there. Why no individual frame sizing?

This I can also say is room for improvement. FFXIV you can change your icon size and bar size. Atm we’re stuck with the big icons/spaced out bars as is. Which is weird because Weakauras allows you to change this willynilly so you’d think WoW would’ve been able to incorporate this to the main game.

the ability to reshape and resize interface boxes. (for example instead of the “talking head” box being a giant rectangle, I should be able to shrink it, and change it to a square)

be able to move individual buttons.

better scaling and ability to alter text locations.

be able to move the pet box.

etc.

this UI update is clunky and half-#####.

Heck the UI from EQ2 15 years ago would be more “customizable”.

It’s really not hard to understand at all: I have never in my life had the slightest inclination to sit and design my own user interface but now I have to in order to play.

I’m really starting to get pissed off at people like you that can’t seem to understand simple stuff like that.

I guess I suck at moving my mini bar… oh wait.

I guess I suck at moving my bag icons… oh wait.

I guess I suck at removing my XP/ rep bar… oh wait.

I guess I suck at moving an resizing my map … oh wait.

and so on and so on. This new UI is PARTIALLY customizable. Not fully.

Yeah whats up with that? They are freaking HUGE. I can stretch it all the way across my screen for some reason, but I cant shrink to a smaller size?

A lot of these comments im finding are people who didn’t dive into the settings when you right click on individual UI boxes for more customization. Some of them don’t even show up as customizable until you interface them.

(Blizzard really didn’t try to let people know about these things, were more focused on the talent trees), there’s a LOT of customization options im seeing people just don’t even know how to utilize.

I’d like the ability to move where my bags open so I can actually move stuff inside them without my action bars popping up and conflicting with bags slots. Keep trying to move a useable item and ending up with the action bars having the items put on them instead

My XP bar/mini menu would like to be resized and move but oh yeah can’t without a FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE UI…

I’d settle for being able to move the micro menu and bag bar and resizing the minimap…
