When I first installed WoW on this system I had it running on my 4k monitor, which was at the time my main monitor. However, I have switched my main, gaming monitor, to be my second monitor instead, which is a 1080p. When loading up Fullscreen(Windowed) WoW it shows window size at 4k and changing resolution scale does not actually adjust my resolution at all. It also still thinks my 4k monitor is monitor 1 on my system.
I want to be able to run Fullscreen(Windowed) WoW on my 1080p monitor at the correct resolution and UI scale, can you help me?
Are you using a Nvidia card? If DSR - Factors is enabled it will affect the values for Windows Size and Resolution Scale which I’ve also seen cause stuttering in-game. If you do have a Nvidia card I’d recommend opening the Nvidia Control Panel. From there go to Manage 3D Settings. Look for DSR - Factors and make sure it says OFF. There is no actual OFF setting, you just need to make sure that nothing is checked.
