Fullscreen Glow not staying off (migraine)

I have to keep typing /console SET ffxglow 0 in-game to turn it off after every new log in.

SET ffxglow “0” is in my config.wtf
That file is NOT locked.

I really really HATE bloom effects in-game. Very difficult on my eyes. I strain to make our details with everything so soft.

This is a cross platform issue I’m afraid. You can mitigate it by putting the following into a macro and putting it onto your action bar keybind or on the right side so you can just click it on login:

/console ffxGlow 0

You can also double up on that macro by adding in the following if you prefer the old pre-Legion tab targeting:

/console TargetNearestUseNew 0

I have these built into my macros that enable/disable the quest trackers (for when I do dungeons solo or am in groups out in the world and want to be able to see/read unit frames).

Note: You’ll need to activate this macro on every login to a character, even if you just log out and back into the same character. It does not stick between characters. That’s how broken it is right now.

Thanks.
I’ll have it bound to my create healthstone on lock.

It’s just a pain to do it for all my alts now.

Checkout the Leatrix Plus add-on, it has a way to disable this.
