Do you need R13 to pull ahead of T1 gear in pvp… Losing that Multi damage from T1 is painful.

Currently r12 on my hunter and waiting for av weekend to be at a time I’m not busy irl.
I have t1 and t2 set and tried out various specs. T1 does have good multi shot damage, and ok stats, for being molten core gear. My only hangup with it is the lack of crit and lower AP.
T2 8pc never seems to proc, or when it does, it’s always at an inconvenient time. Nice stats on the set.
Currently using 5pc t2 and 3pc r12. But plan on wearing r13 set with 3pc t2 when I get around to ranking up. A lot more hp, ap, crit to offset the damage loss for not using t1 8pc.
Imo having more damage on everything other than multi shot is better for pvp. Rock your t1 with pride until you get the pvp set

If Full T1 is better to use rather than bust the set up for the 3 piece R12. Pretty clearly worded.
Are you honestly simming PVE gear in a PVP setting? Just going to ignore the huge stam and armor increase?
The trade off is pretty significant. 15% multi shot damage from T1 that stacks with the 15% barrage talent is pretty huge.
When I hit r13 and have the full set I think it will be better than T1. My only option right now is R12 3 piece with T2 helm rest T1 so I think full T1 is still better.
It just feels like when I take off the 8 piece T1 set it takes much longer to down a rogue or warrior.
