Anyone have this issue as rogue? Mele absolutely smashes me, all they need is one round of a stun CD and I’m half health or less, 2 stuns and I’m gone.
We need some survivability blizz! Whats going on here? Seems like they eat through my evasion and cloak.
I wanted to make this short, anyone else have similar issues? And this has been before season one! Now forget it!
Unfortunately that is just Rogues for you. Our main defense is stealth. Our base dodge is low and dodge only works for melee attacks from the front with diminishing returns.
Our armor is non existent. We lack easy and generous health shields.
Our defensive abilities are easily overcome for the most part but have considerable CDs.
Succeeding as a Rogue is primarily about how you use stealth to approach the fight. You gotta play real dirty and not be above retreating if things don’t go your way.
Pick off the weak, gang up on others, run away.
On my rogue you just get kited hard and yea you just die.
I’ve been playing rogue for many expansions, this is the worse “defensively” they’ve been so far.
Also, while we’re at it, solo ques at 20+ mins? this is worse than last expansion, come on blizz!!!
You’re not wrong. We are really feeling the Recup bug. That heal was critical to our staying power allowing us to disengage and get back in with ease.
This is also just a trend for Rogues. At the beginning of xpacs we tend to be weak. We benefit immensely from gear. The survivability granted by the lowest tier PvP gear is truly minimal on a class like Rogue. I wouldn’t blame ya for dropping Rogue because this.
