Full Moon Why

Did boomies really need a chaos bolt type spell hitting for insane numbers on top of the already insane numbers that come from their entire instant cast kit?

Just wait until you get hit by one buffed up by an AugDaddie

nope they did not but on the bright side it wont be a popular option because it sucks to try to cast full moon and having 2 charges of full moon is actually not a good thing in pvp.

It will definitely work well in organized play where setups are a thing, but you would have to be almost completely ignored in a shuffle match to get this off consistently.

Yeah I actually take this back. Tried new moon on my boomy and was doing nice chunks but was easily dealt with. Swapped back to fury of elune and felt better prioritizing starsurge.

just get precog or sponge kicks w clone and then moon when you’re on stun dr

cause showing one cheek isn’t enough

its it cool that the less u care, the more they want caring to matter??

to be fair, they already had that and the full moon part didnt get that much of a buff. it was teh 2 previous cast that did.

its also hella slow to cast, has charges with like 30 second cds, and replaces sky lazor. I suggest training the boomkin and forcing them to move so they dont get to cast the 3 second long cast time nuclear bomb.

Interrupt cyclone or interrupt moons?

Cyclone is nature.
Moon is astral (nature+arcane)
If you interrupt moon you lock out both schools

what do you do vs a destro when your team has 1 interrupt and they cast fear on that player into chaos bolt

Say a prayer.

You can stop spell casts with any CC, so I would probably do that if it was going to be detrimental and our healer couldn’t manage it.

that sounds like a solid play

i hope it’s illustrated within that answer why “just lock astral instead of nature” isn’t actionable

A friend of mine talked about full moon being OP now as well. How many damage modifiers does it need before I cast it? Cuz I tried it out and I think I hit 110k as crit when incarn was popped on dummy. Just incarn though.

did you have moonfire and sunfire on the target? pvp target? double eclipse and dot coverage should be enough to make casted full moon crit over 200k ez if you have your pvp item level triggered by the pvp dummy(it should actually register higher here cuz crits aren’t reduced for that dummy like they are for players)

additional modifiers are friend of the fae and waning twilight but 110k crit is def missing more than them

Wym? A one shot was the last infinity stone they needed to be truly invincible. Now they can make everything “balanced”. As all things should be.
