Are there any techies out there who are either still creating full macros or still use them , if so can someone send me a full macro for destro warlock and elemental shaman over.for pve only no pvp no battleground …thank you in advance
Sure:
What exactly do you mean by “full macros”?
I had the same question. Automation of the game in any way, including rotations, can lead to a very long suspension or account closure.
If something can’t be done with the in-game macro maker, it is not wise to do it outside of that.
Because what they show in wowhead is bits and pieces of macros that do certain things with certain spells back in wotlk they have a full one where you would just have like for a example 3 buttons and it took care of your whole rotation…it’s not automated you just had less buttons to push…
Blizzard put an end to that. You cant macro most rotational abilities into one string anymore.
The days of one shot warrior macros are gone.
Pretty sure you can still do /castsequence?
This will cast Exorcism, Crusader Strike, Crusader Strike, Crusader Strike, Shield of the Righteous and will reset back to Crusader Strike after leaving combat or 10 seconds after the last click (note: this will not skip Shield of the Righteous if you don’t have any Holy Power):
/castsequence reset=combat/10 Exorcism, Crusader Strike, Crusader Strike, Crusader Strike, Shield of the Righteous
I don’t know the intricacies of it but I got that example from the wowpedia article on macro castsequence.
Ok coolness ty guys **hugs all around"
Yes /castsequence still works. I experimented with it in SL to create an opener for my pally single target rotation. You do have to repeatedly push the keybind for your macro to execute the next spell in the sequence. As such it will certainly work to reduce N different buttons down to one.
It may be suitable for you, but I abandoned it. My issue was that my opener included a reticle (Final Reckoning) and I frequently failed to place the spell on the desired target because hitting the macro again by mistake drops the reticle at your location, not your target’s location.
