I’ve been working on my Full Discography achievement, and am only 2 away from completion, but after the prepatch the entire progress was wiped out, and it shows 0 progress. I still have the Azeroth’s Top Twenty tunes achievement, though, so clearly something thinks I have progress. Please correct this achievement that failed to get converted properly account-wide!

Same happened to me. I needed 1 single music roll to finish this and I’d been working on it for months and months and months. I really hope they fix this but big doubt that they will.

I may be wrong on this, but once you add a new music roll to what you already have, it may re-evaluate your current status and update the achievement.
Unfortunately not I think – I added the Argent Tourney disc after the pre-patch and now I’m sitting at 1/20 for Top Twenty Tunes despite having previous progress 
Same issue for me, too. 
I can confirm that me, and a random person on trade chat are both experiencing this issue.
I unlocked the discography thing on an alt today to see what would happen and when I used the basic rolls given to you for unlocking it I could see progression on all my characters so maybe now its a brute forceable with alts type of achievement? I still hate this and want my old progress back.
Just checked more alts and there should be a way to see progress for this achievement per character still. While it looks like the achievement is account wide the Tune-O-Tron 5000 in your garrison is still character specific. My main that I was almost done on has all of them unlocked (except for the missing one) where my other characters who just opened it only have the small number of ones they unlocked.
I also lost all progress on this achievement. I only had 2 left to get and now I’m sitting at zero progress. All my progress had been made on one character.
