Full client or minimal Classic only version?

One question I have not seen (maybe it’s been asked/answered, but I can’t find info) anything about is if we are coming back to play classic with no Wow install, will we have to download the entire, huge, 40+ gigabyte standard client full of expansions we don’t even use, or a nice, neat smaller Classic only client?

No you will not. The beta with no retail is apparently about 6-8 GB

They are standalone clients. Just like how you have to download the PTR and the normal game separately.
