So I’m grinding old sets for transmog and certain weapons but every time I get an item thats apart of a set it gets soulbound on my character unless they can use it. An example would be me grinding Molten core and getting the judgment pants but I can’t equip them and they’re soulbound. If anyone has an answer it’d help out a lot thanks.
Typically when doing transmog runs, you are only looking for set items for your class or weapon/clothes that your character can equip. You will have to grind out the old raid for each class for set items.
What do you mean by :
gets soulbound unless they can use it? … that makes no sense to me.
But … as information. In WoW … since Vanilla items that drop in Dungeons and Raids always get soulbound. It was never any different.
Like in Molten Core, originally the Leader had a special Loot Window where he could give loot to people. You would kill a Boss, and then the Leader would Post the Items the Boss dropped … and then people could Roll, use DKP or there was a Loot Council in place.
So, if you want to farm the Paladin T1 Set … you gotta get it on a Paladin. And only a Paladin will be able to tmog it.
There are Lookalike Pieces, that every Class that has that Armor Type as main Type can unlock for the tmog system and then consequently tmog.
So you getting Items in old Dungeons/Raids and they get soulbound … working as intended.
There are few pieces, that don’t get soulbound though …(in Molten Core all Bracer and Belts are not bound on pickup)…
