Why is it that tanks are again running so far ahead in instances? The last few runs I have done have had a tank just blaze ahead of the group and start pulling the next mob before we even finish off the current one and loot. I get the want to just get through them but not everyone is at that point in the game or on an alt they are figuring out.
I am working on a healer and I had a Druid tank that used his cat form to run ahead and then died and blamed me because I couldn’t keep up. I am a holy priest and at lower levels there isn’t a spell like Blink or charge to use.
Just so frustrating that I am not able to engage and get experience in the fights because of a impatient tank.
Or they’ll just stop queueing as a tank. Even with tanks as strong as they are now, the queue doesn’t pop until a tank shows up. Expect that to be orders of magnitude worse.
Clearly the healer nerf didn’t work out so there was only one option left.
Except… that option won’t work either. Nerfing tank heal throughput will only force them to out gear the content, same as it did for healers in S4. Neither is a solution.
Nope, it just means more blame for the healer for not keeping up and healing. M+ will still consist of pulling 2-3 packs at once regardless of tank survivabilty, which will trickle down to all levels of content.
Yes, it’s frustrating. I want to level my healers through timewalking, but it can be a pain. The tanks forget that the rest of the party isn’t immortal.
Stop complaining and backseating tanks, and tank yourself then. You have the power to control it but choose to just complain about it.
Nothing more sad than seeing dps players who have by far the easiest role and least responsibility in the group trying to tell someone who’s infinitely more important than them, what they are doing wrong.
You’re a dps, you’re a dime a dozen. But instead of manning up and doing a harder role, you’re just going to sit back and criticize what they are doing. This is why we have a shortage of tanks and healers, they are already hard enough to play and having to deal with idiots
I’m like 90% sure that people writing these posts are doing leveling normal dungeons. And people are definitely still going to get aggressive pulling in normal dungeons.
Just being realistic. The role is already hard enough without dealing with the crybaby dps who backseat the tanks all the time. Just be quiet and dps what the tank pulls, if you don’t like it, roll a tank
