Just think about it. They’ve been in the lore since vanilla. Bimble Longberry, Shan’ti, the mysterious Ogri’la Grubgiver. Legendary heroes providing feed for hunters’ vegetarian pets, and suboptimal health restoration over time to everybody without access to mage food.

With such standout archetypes available, and the wide variety of unique real-world and fantasy fruits within Azeroth, I can’t see any reason Blizzard WOULDN’T go down this route for their next available playable class.
