Lots of bad design decisions in this game.
I always picture the people who say this sort of thing as being unable to go grocery shopping unless they have at least four other people with them.
Frozen Makura doesn’t require grouping. It requires a few seconds from a couple of the “many people playing at the same time”.
If you people seriously don’t want quest design that encourages or requires player interaction, then perhaps the genre isn’t for you.
We all know the end result of this kind of thinking.

Its better than a kid whining that he can’t play a game of soccer by himself.
The frozen mobs require grouping if multiple people want the rune, otherwise only the initial tag can loot it.
That’s great until you find yourself on a dead server with nobody to group up with.
Come back for the rune later when you’ve found some friends
It doesn’t take 3-5 players. It takes 4 fire spells. I did it with Immolate and Imp attack and 1 other mage doing fireball and fire blast.
Why don’t you just multibox? You do own more than one account right? Don’t you love blizzard?
Pretty sure I did it solo with living flame
Speak for yourself. I loved the journey and wished it was longer.
90% of the playerbase are bots…

I did, hence the “me”.
Feel free to walk around as much as you please, don’t let me stop you.
Same. Solo’d with the Living Flame spell. Took a few casts but it eventually went down.
took me one hour
terrible routing on top of low intellectual ability
wild strikes is a 30 minute rune if you do five seconds of planning
I don’t necessarily disagree with what your saying but by now Alot of other players have lvld to 25. What happens when there’s only 3-4 mages even leveling around that lvl bracket instead of 50-60. It’s a good design in the first few weeks but can end up being, exactly as op is saying, rather barren with noone else doing it just a few weeks in.
its already happening lol and for ppl playing at odd hours is even worse
“anti-run” “bad design” = casual retail player
