So apperently the Frostwolf earmuff are using Stormwind Lions/Alliance colors. This must be why Thrall has ditched Doomhammer black and going with Alliance blue.

Eh? No, there’s a horde version and an alliance version. You can see both the red and the blue version in another post.

Unfortunately, I am going to have to agree. The Horde has been neutered for a while now. We’re more like the lesser Alliance than Horde these days.
If I had to compare the old Horde with the new Horde I’d call the old Horde “Toxic Masculinity” and the new Horde “Woke”. Woke means “alert to and concerned about social injustice and discrimination.” which the current Horde is far more aware of than their predecessors.
It also has some forced DEI which I am not a fan of. A naturally occurring inclusion is fine but when it feels forced upon the player just to fill in a box it is bad. Personally, I prefer the old Horde more and is probably why I rarely play WoW nowadays.

Then whoever made the post still goofed because the picture is clearly the Alliance one while having the caption Frostwolf Earmuff.
That’s entirely possible lmao. I just know that there’s the horde version which is called the “frostwolf”, has the horde insignia and is red/beige and then the alliance version which is blue. They probably just messed up the subtitle.

lion’s crest earmuffs = alliance symbol earmuffs
frostwolf earmuffs = horde symbol earmuffs
You know you could just look at the link? The picture is the Alliance earmuffs while having the caption that says Frostwolf Earmuffs.
Oh. I looked at the WoWhead one which is accurate and for some reason has the image that the official WoW page lacks.

So Alliance ones can very well still be Frostwolf Earmuffs.
Apparently Frostwolves can only mean the faction and not the animals.

Who said I am upset? If anything I just find the entire thing funny especially considering how some people dont like that Blizzard is giving Thrall a more blueish hued armor.
And now we know the reason. Apperently the Frostwolves have gone Alliance 
I find it strange that it has the name Frostwolf but the earmuffs have a Horde theme.
What the hell does this have to do with the Frostwolf Clan?
