Hey guys, jsut curious if anyone knows who can loot the Frostscythe from the chilled bags? Can anyone since its a transmog item? or just staff-wielders? or just staff-weilding casters? Just trying to figure out if i should farm it on some toons, such as my hunter with survival loot spec. From what ive seen on wowhead, its mostly outdated info from around Legion (unless im missing something), so unsure if its still accurate years later, especially with the addition of items meant specifically for transmog
Anyone can get it, only staff welders can unlock the transmog appearance and use it

okay. so say i get it on my DK… i know that class cant use staves. but it still wont be added to my appearances even though i got it on a character?
correct. Must look on priest, druid, mage, or lock. I don’t remember if shamans use staffs. Maybe Warriors too
They can, and warriors can use everything but glaives so it should unlock on them too.
Where do you get a frost scythe? I thought they removed that back awhile.
It actually drops quite a bit more than you might think. I got it on quite a few of my toons. They should classify it as a polearm though. I do not know why they do not.
Possibly because polearms already have a whole heap of scythe models while staff users do not. Warlocks like scythes too, ya know, and frost mages like frosty stuff!
