So I’ve been playing through the Warlords of Draenor on my 120 rogue, and have encountered an issue where I cannot continue the final chapter of the Frosfire Ridge story line. I cannot continue to complete “The battle of Thunder Pass” due to the fact you must have a level 2 garrison to continue the story and accept the quest. This is baffling, as this is a 5 year old expansion, where gold in the current expansion comes in faster and in higher amounts, meaning the resources for creating a new garrison become less of a problem. The fact that I am unable to continue this story line on my 120 rogue is utterly annoying as it isn’t something I would have known, to have needed a level 2 garrison to finish a story line of all things. Even then, being back in the expansion as it was current meta, and maybe having a level 3 garrison before continuing the story would have had you in this same position that I am now. If possible, I would like to have my account with the start of this chapter started, so that I may continue on my way to Draenor Pathfinder as this is not something I would have ever though myself needing to do on a second character. Quite annoying.

And I’m suppose to know that this quest is only available to you with, and only with, a level 2 garrison? As someone playing through Draenor for the first time, I shouldn’t be expected to know things about the game that are locked behind a very specific criteria such as this. A criteria that locks you out if you upgrade something within the game and can’t go back on, anyone could do this and they’d be where I am. Playing through for the first time, and having this happen because I was never told that it was a requirement AT ALL during my playthrough, is pretty bad. It isn’t my fault because I “don’t feel like meeting the criteria” which is obviously not the case nor ever was, that’s just poor design by blizzard. All I simply ask is for this chapter to be started from the beginning sop that I may continue my quests line because some bad design was chosen to be done in-game.
Suck it up and work on garrison. You could get it to level 3 in a few hours to a couple days (depending on how much resources you saved up). If you already unlocked flying in Draenor, you could easily farm enough resources to get the garrisons out of the way
You aren’t understanding the issue. Because I HAVE a level 3 garrison, I cannot begin the final chapter. Because I cannot finish the final chapter, I can’t complete the Draenor Pathfinder achievement.
You weren’t being clear.
If you have a level 3 garrison, there’s no problem.
The quest is automatically skipped, and you move on to the next part of the quest chain.
