While frost mages can get crimson ice.
The crimson ice idea hasn’t exactly been floating around too much… in fact, this could be a first, but since mages are getting spell fusion, blue fire is very much a possibility to represent their specialization.
Just saying.

Blizz needs to give us glyphs to change our fire color.
Or at least a quest line similar to the warlocks.
Either way, there are possibilities.
Our water elemental glyphs are near useless too since we only see it when proc’d.
Blue fire would be dope.
I thought the whole point of Frostfire was to use frost AND fire, so doesn’t turning your frost spells red and fire spells blue defeat the purpose?

Just have the mages burn methane and the fire will be blue.
I’d play a frost mage reskin flavored around shooting crystalized blood at people.

Blue fire, alright yeah, I can see it. Blue fire actually exists after all- it’s a real thing.
Red ice, though? That sounds like a Frost DK’s ability, like there’s blood in the ice lol.
Frozen blood, rather than ice.
Maybe orange ice would be better? Idk, yellow snow? Lol.
Haven’t invited a mage to m+ that I’ve liked since early SL.
Like I said, there are options.
Frost doesn’t have to be crimson.
Frost/ice being colored like fire would be super wierd. Even if you ignore how nonsensical it would be, its hard to even picture it looking cool.
Red ice is a delicious summer time treat on a hot day.
Again, just an option. The primary ideal target is giving mages blue fire.
The only reason I brought up crimson ice is because I saw red ice is Zelda: OOC. You have to use blue fire to melt it.
I would like for my mirror images to use abilities from the spec I’m in and not just frost bolt.
