Frost vs Fire

Which one is objectively the best DPS in M+? Is it also better in PvP?

I like both specs equally. I just want to play the strongest one.

It’s kinda split, fire for Raids and PvP, frost for M+

According to warcraft logs,frost mages are near the bottom and fire mages are near the top for m+ dungeons.

I generally PvP as Fire and PVE as Frost.

Thanks for the replies. I genuinely like both specs and I’ve played mage for 6 years so I tend to just gravitate to the meta one.

Wowlogs has fire as one of the top specs for mage, and overall for M+ and raiding.

Worldofwargraphs shows almost double the amount of fire rated 1800+
