I don't remember if they nerfed it later in Vanilla, but damn was it vicious back then.

I pvp'd as a dwarf priest and rogue in vanilla..... shaman was my most hated class to go up against...

I hated shaman....

You can never escape from them.... they spam purge on you so you can't do anything while running... and frostshock....

Nothing is more frustrating trying to run or kite and getting frostshocked to death.

I played a 19 shaman twink. How I wish I had that spell...game changer.

I was also a Dwarf Shadow Priest and I never had any answers for an enhance shaman.

They would just rip through me like butter...

Watching a Shaman kite someone around for 15 minutes for the lulz was a thing of beauty.

Shamans can global you with a thunder bolt, NS chainlightning then earth shock incase ur somehow still alive. unbelievably broken in pvp lmao

I remember all the shocks where part of your dps rotation on seperate cooldowns, before they made frost shock just for pvp

This was not during Vanilla. They shared a CD in Vanilla.

(And also in BC and Wrath. I think it was Cata or MoP that, for a brief period, you had all three on separate CDs.)

Just wait til ppl find out that Purge dispels 2 Magic effects AND has no CD, and that most of their buffs like Frost Armor are Magic effects that cost 25-70% of their maximum mana to cast. Gonna be great.
