IS it allowed? ive heard GMs taking action as far as removing bought gear and returing the G spent and warning players not to do it. My Question is why?
What is your specific question? Like Frost resistance gear in general? In what way are you using this gear that you are wondering this?
I keep telling people to stop using hard drugs. And yet we just keep getting forum posts like this.
Okay since you are clearly not wanting to answer.
No Frost resist is not bannable in AV. Idk why you even think that. There is basically nothing that even does frost damage in AV.
So unless you are doing some dumb exploit that is not well know that you want to be more specific about the answer is no.
More like somoen i nthe G got his Frost resist Gear taken away and refunded the G from a GM because he was reported in AVs (classic). So im wondering why. Does it break TOS or something?
Yeah, I am just not gonna believe this unless there is some hard proof. Since it makes 0 sense. Or there was some very specific reasoning given.
Quite literally any gear that you can obtain legitimately in the game can be brought into AV, and any battleground for that matter.
I think FR would only benefit against Balinda, and frost mages though?
If they are wearing enough frost resist to make a difference, they probably aren’t going to be doing much damage.
what GMs? they haven’t existed for years. if someone had gear taken away it was for botting or afking and even then blizz usually doesnt take the gear
I think it’s because there are some items on the AV Quartermaster has frost resistance. Ot’s really not a big issue and it’s definitely not going to ban you for having too much frost resistance.
lol resist gear isn’t all that good in vanilla bro. you’d need a lot of it for it to be effective and you’d be sacrificing lots of offensive output.
If a rank 1 frost bolt does zero damage, will it still apply the slow?
Can safely mute this topic.
