I haven’t played Mage since vanilla. I have a question regarding frost mages. Do you free mobs in place on purpose by pressing a specific button(s), or is it a “random proc” or an RNG thing?
I know Frost Nova does this around your person, but is there something else doing it?
We have a talent called frostbite that applies roots randomly when mobs are chilled, but its not in current talent builds. Aside from that, talents will identify if they freeze mobs. So the freeze spell from your water elemental, ice nova, freezing cold talent for cone of cold.
is that root DR?
