I see where you are coming from and that is correct in most cases, but frost is in a really bad spot right now 1v1 and 2v2 unless played as fotm - tunnel of ice, ff and probably with a resto druid or rogue.
The main problem I have are duels!!! and yes, I have not progressed enough because I refuse to play versatile III or gushing wounds as it is my belief that mages should not be forced into playing a particular way; versatille 3 is super overvalued even with the nerf in duels and 3v3. Haste is disconnected from skill more than its ever been.
