Look, I think that most warriors are totally crybabies when they cant maintain 100% uptime and 3shot people, but to act like mage hasn’t been an unkillable S tier class for the last 2 expansions and is slotted to be the same for a 3rd is kinda crazy.
Fire and frost were insane in BfA too.

I may give fire a try after I get arcane on lockdown. Currently struggling into WW/Rsham, MM/X, uhdk/x in 2s.
Only fought one frost mage and he bullied me through cooldowns.
Fire seems like it would be fun spreading dots into pet classes at least.

All fire damage feels like negligible splash damage thats passively outhealed.
ya you fake, get cog and send dam and they just bully u thru ur own cooldowns with ice lance spam and never open a castbar.
Balancing feels very questionable when that occurs indeed

Was in Blackrook and they just W keyed me.
Oh well. Tuning passes hopefully fix things in the future and I’ve only done one night of arena as a mage so far and still went positive so I’m not throwing in the towel just yet.
Honestly I’d like to see a barrage and blast buff. Missiles and ring of fire shouldn’t be my 1 and 2 by a country mile.
Edit: actually since they don’t want a sustain buff usually, maybe make surge hit harder? Idk. Arcane feels like it needs something - at least in comparison to frost and aff.
Yea 250k and less blasts on 1.2-1.4 cast feels awful.
Its pretty much all your damage as fire lol. Even frost/arcane pad a ton off it.
That hurts.
I tell my healer to walk through the ring and I watch enemies just melt themselves because they just know they’ll win if they connect.
