My water elemental seems to have lost its abilities on its bar, no water bolt icon and no pet frost nova are available.

Beautiful way to lose 6 arena games this afternoon, I was going to post a link to a clip of it occurring ingame If that would help but I’m apparently not allowed to post links on these forums. Fix please

It seems to only bug when you are battlegrounds or arenas…
Basically, only when it matters. Gotcha.
Just found out it doesnt work in instances too. Only works in open world.

Confirmed. Water elemental only working in open world. Can’t use freeze in instances. Waterbolt seems to work as long as it’s on auto cast, so that’s a partial workaround, although telling the pet /cast waterbolt does not work.
have the same issue on grobbulus cant use my pet in any instances or arenas

Having this same issue. It’s every other arena game for me. One game it works like normal, the next game when I summon my pet it has no abilities. It also does not show up as a “pet” in my spellbook. I have video clips of this, too.
Cant even play the game super cool …
this is so frustrating, i can’t even believe i pay to play this game, 15 years old game, patchs still releases full of bugs, terrok can’t be killed, and now i can’t even play arena (cuz i play with a mage partner)
Adding on as another data point that this has affected me as well. Some times it works, sometimes it doesn’t. More often than not water ele freeze was not available for use in instanced PvP
Works find open world, only in Arena and Bgs does it bug out…

PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP SAME BUG! please fix i cant use in arena!
Tried using a pet macro to no avail. Please fix ASAP - frost mage PvP is unplayable with this bug.
same issue on both of my mages. tried using ability without macro and pet still summons with no water bolt of freeze on bars. doesnt happen every game but more often than not i am unable to use his abilities. a hotfix for this would be great. Had to get cap on one of my mages tonight and it was really frustrating being gimped by this.
