Couldn’t they just have a Legendary that buffed icicles? They are a base ability that benefits spike dmg right?

Yeah, if I remember right the spike talent deals a certain amount of damage, plus the damage of stored icicles. I personally like the spike gameplay, so I would be in favor of something like this. One thing would really help the gameplay of spike though is either a legendary or change to fingers of frost so that it also generates an icicle when consumed. (This should make icelance/fingers of frost fit a lot better into glacial spike rotation)
