Which is better for mythic plus and raiding?
Not the answer you want but it’s gonna be preference for sure. Both have 2 other specs if you get bored or nerfed. Both are capable of high end content. Not really a stand alone factor setting one apart.

Right now I believe Demonology warlock pulls ahead but given how often things swing around, picking what is most powerful in one season is likely to be far less powerful in the next.
Traditionally, warlock has always performed better than pretty much all 3 of the mage specs. That being said, I prefer mage gameplay over warlock. Warlocks true trump card is that fact that it has basically 50% more hp with far more survivability than a mage and can use a pet tank.
Warlock would be my preference, but I enjoy both. They are both good for M+ and raiding, so just choose whichever you like. You could also just make an alt of both and figure out which you find more enjoyable to play.
I would highly suggest you try a class-trial for Demo Warlock and see if you enjoy it, because personally I hate the shared-CD system on your pets abilities and the builder-spender also to me feels backwards. The builder is more satisfying than the spender.
The one you are better at playing. If you do 100k DPS with mage and 150k with the lock, then play the lock.
