Frost mage cant water walk?

Hey,

So I made a mage recently and the only utility I have is a slow fall.

  • Additionally, like 50% of spells and talents in all three specs are damn same lul.

And where did all fun utility spells go? Jaina is destroying Undercity with imaginary arcane cannons and I can’t even walk damn water? Why can DK walk water but frost mage cannot?

America explain!!!

Because it’s a DK ability.

They took Displacer Beast off of Druids because it was too close to Mage blink. We’re not allowed to have similar spells, apparently.

I mean, I know DK has ability, but why does DK have ability to water walk and frost mage not? It is the same thing, freeze damn water lol.

I just explained why… <.<

I was just thinking of this a few days ago.

I wish it was a Mage ability, or at least a passive from Ebonchill.

EDIT: On the bright side, you can get an item from Anglers rep which gives you an iceberg to float on!

They probably don’t want to give water walking to just one spec. They can’t make it a mage spell because it wouldn’t make much sense for a fire mage to freeze the water to walk on it.

/shrug.

Well, this elemental shaman water walks, so I’m not sure similarity is the issue…

Frost Nova on water should just make a small glacier boat.

Frost mages cannot because DK’s need something special.

Being a frost mage doesn’t make you Jesus.

I’m sure that was a factor, but it probably didn’t help that even without Displacer Beast the class is in a pretty good place in terms of mobility. I mean they’ve got a low-cooldown undispellable root break and in-combat mount as well as bear charge/cat sprint (depending on spec) at their fingertips at any given time…

Give Warlocks our class mount ability to run on water again.

Jaina is better than you in every way.

Yes please!

Also, hello fellow Mel Warlock.

Oh please, Indian Devas have been doing that long since he came along.

I wondered the same thing for years. I thought a mage with waterwalking makes more sense than a DK with water walking. Someone said a firemage with waterwalking doesn’t make sense but I disagree. Doesn’t fire mage still have a couple of frost abilities??? It’s been years since I played a mage but I thought they has ice lance or something???

Anyways… I agree with you OP.

Now the real question should be; why did they take underwater breathing away from Shamans? :frowning:

Just Frost Nova. All specs have that.

Hey thats our ability, don’t you appropriate deathknight culture

Because lorelol…since BC

Not to rub it in, but priest levitate is essentially water walk and slow fall in one spell. It’s awesome.
