They made several GCD changes for Unholy last week that helped but they still have some, yes.
Those gcd’s do damage though. Army does damage, Apoc does damage, garg does damage and now unholy assault does damage. DT could be taken off the gcd since its a damage increase for your pet.

The pre BFA norm…
People have suffered these abilities being on the GCD for the expansion, and I would absolutely expect one to be excited.
Do not assume excitement is direct praise towards Blizzard.

Its literally something we already had. Getting something taken away from you and then given back is nothing actually amazing.
When you praise changes like this it allows them to get away with it. It shouldnt have happened in the first place. Everyone hated the GCD. For crying out loud be objective instead of insulting.

I’d like DT and Garg off the GCD, with Unholy Assault’s effects being folded into Apoc.
Alternatively, I’d be appeased by having Apoc & UA combined and DT/Garg getting some sort of activation effect. Garg could even just gain the DT functionality. This would make reduce the opener by 2 more GCDs. Still not amazing, but better.

I am praising this decision to bring it back. I am also praising their increasing willingness to go back on decisions that did not work.
2H frost, obliterates doing real damage again and CD’s off the GCD.

This comment is exactly why you get so much stick. Technically you are correct but you can feel the hostility in the tone of the words.
All these changes for Frost are great and it shows Blizzard is actually interest in making the spec enjoyable and hopefully balanced.

You know this was called long ago when all these things were first put on the gcd “take it away to give it back later to earn praise like they are actually doing something” and you guys are falling for it.
