*Redesign Cold Front Capstone: Frozen Orb has 2 charges.
*New talent Frozen detonation: At the end of Frozen orb it detonates similarly to frost bomb. All targets effected are slowed and winter’s chill is applied for 3 seconds. This could provide a nice combo for Comet storm coming off cd from the initial coldest snap combo.
Nobody liked Icy Propulsion or Thermal Void being powerful because it turned Icy Veins into a maintenance buff rather than a powerful cooldown. That was not fun gameplay. Hugely disagree with your opinion that Frost feels stale. It’s more fun than ever for me.

Frost is really nice gameplay right now, but i also actually liked icy propulsion.
As a capstone for slick ice would be nice. But not the shadowlands variant, the df one, cdr only inside your cd is not great.
Personally i like the vast majority of cdr mechanics. There are only a few i don’t like so if icy propulsion were to return, no complaints from me, unless it’s the shadowlands version.
DF version of IP was fine, but no cdr for aoe was a bummer in m+ since you couldn’t reliably reset IV for every pack. I say combine SL and DF IP. The rework is a snooze fest in comparison to either.
It’s either Icy Propulsion or Icy Veins, pick one. Both is toxic af.

Im having a blast on Frost. which hero talent are you running? Frost fire is a crap ton of fun and is almost totally instant cast. I feel like im playing my BM hunter while playing a mage. its excellent
Frost has always been boring and hasn’t changed. I see so many people playing it lately and I’m just wondering why. Too many new people not knowing what’s up I guess
Just my take but I find frost is less annoying for solo content.
I know half the player base is way ahead of me so I guess my exposure to this ‘issue’ is ltd.
This is pretty much the reason.
Frost has steady and consistent damage, a ton of snares and kiting toolkit the other specs lack, plus two casts of ice cold. It has a ton of instant casts compared to arcane.
It deals with groups of mobs supremely better than arcane, who lives and dies by a 1.5 minute window.
Arcane may be better in raids, but everywhere else frost is very competitive if not better, especially pvp and delves.
