You skate/slide to your opponent, leaving a rainbow bridge/wake that others can use to quickly follow you, it lasts for a predetermined time, and can also be used to quickly retreat, something similar to a warlocks gate with charges.
DK hasn’t been engaging to me since Wrath when we had so much potential.
Frost seems “frozen in time” and hasn’t moved forward for several expansions now. Developers deciding to lock in SB as the “move”, with its long goes that everyone knows is coming, makes it worse.
I dont think you have been playing frost for a while then. The Hero talents have done a lot for frost, and then the rework brought a lot of changes to their aoe. What you suggest wouldn’t “Mechanically” change anything. Just add a massive mobility button they do not need and that would look bad.
I didn’t suggest anything especially in the realm of mobility so I have no idea where you got that from. Secondly please tell me how their AOE changed so much with D&D cleave, breath of sindragosa and a frost strike aoe with shattered frost. Literally the only new 2 ways to do AOE, 1 is passive, and 2 was part of your rotation anyways with frost strike. Now let’s look at the hero talents! For riders, they’re completely passive procs summoned with FwF and you guessed it, completely passive that changes nothing about your rotation. As for deathbringer, you hit it and keep attacking the target to 40 stacks. If you think that is a massive change to the spec then we just have different ideas of what a spec rework really is. I want the ret treatment rework for FDK. So don’t say I haven’t played frost DK my guy just because you think a few new talents is equivalent to a rework
Couldn’t have said it better. They need to rework it to play better. When I play ret paladin I can feel the love the devs put into that spec. I do not feel that way when I play frost. FDK feels like an after thought.
