Looking at some examples of priority talents needed to be selected for Frost DK PvP. I know Unholy is by far superior in PvP but I’m a dreamer.

Unholy isn’t “by far” better than frost in PVP. I’ve gone head to head many times with other DK’s both Unholy and Frost and its pretty even. Where Unholy shines is when they are fighting in BG’s against large teams. Nobody in the game can hold a candle to their AOE damage abilities. 1v1 and 2v2 or lower numbers Frost is potent.
I have a great time using a 2 hand Obliterate spec in PVP. I’ve tried the frost strike dual wield spec several times and I just can’t keep enough runic power to dump frost strikes. I feel starved a lot.
There are several different ways to build a frost pvp spec and it depends on your playstyle. I always take Frostwyrms Fury so that I have a way to freeze people and it’s a nice way to escape if needed. Chill Streak is a must! I take my pet and spec into Cleaving Strikes also. It helps when I can jump into a group fight, lay down D&D and get double obliterates all day long. If you can free enough points to get down to Empower Rune Weapon, it really helps you get a HUGE burst every so often.
My full burst against an enemy team usually consists of me dropping D&D, howling blast, abom arm, empower rune weapon, pillar of frost, pulling out my pet, frostwyrm’s fury, obliterate, obliterate, obliterate, obliterate, then runic power dump either with death strike or frost strike.
Other than those, its really up to you. Take as many defensive points you can spend on.
