Frost DK Bugs

The following is a list of major bugs still affecting Frost Death Knight that will have significant impacts on talent balance if they make it to live.

  • Reaper’s Mark is still detonating early when a single target hits 35%. This functionality remains despite being removed from the tooltip. This bug majorly hurts the Deathbringer tier set.
  • Howling Blades damage does not scale with Mastery, Razorice, or the spec aura. This bug majorly hurts the damage of the talent.
  • The Empower Rune Weapon interaction with Obliteration is broken. Instead of granting a free Obliterate/Frostscythe cast, it makes the Rune spender drain 8 Runic Power.
  • Murderous Efficiency does not interact with Killing Streak. This is inconsistent with other effects that trigger from consuming Killing Machine, which all trigger twice when Killing Streak removes two stacks of KM. This bug makes Murderous Efficiency significantly worse in Killing Streak builds.
  • Exterminate empowered Obliterates generate 10 Runic Power. Unsure what the intended behavior is, but for the last two patches they have granted 20 Runic Power.

i didn’t know about most of these bugs. they sound pretty nasty

I’d like to add on that exterminate also sometimes just fails to cast from an Obliterate or Frostscythe in times of lag or high haste (during bloodlust).

Arctic Assault is not working properly with Killing Streak. The hitbox of the Glacial Advances spawned is very thin, and I cannot hit a target with both unless I am standing as close as possible to them.
