Hey, smart one, pvp gear can be used in pve. Many people have done that because its a quick way to increase ilvl, the problem however is that the stats do not coincide with what Frost actually wants.
Just because I say “pvp gear” does not mean I am talking about using it in pvp when that entire part of the paragraph was talking about the stats that Frost would want which PvP doesnt have them, and neither does the raid. Its saying that you have really one direction to get the stats that you want and that is from M+.

Yes, pvp gear doesnt have the stats on it that Frost would want in how its designed. What is so hard to understand about that? You think you are showing my to be an idiot and trying to move the goalpost, but just go look at a BiS list for pve, and see if the pvp gear has the stats that it would want. Ill wait.
Don’t worry guys, I’m going to talk about PvP gear, but not in the context as it relates to PvP - even though everyone else is talking on behalf of PvP. Who would do such a thing, anyways. PvP? pffffft! Quiet, peasants! I’m busy grinding out heroic dungeons.

Sadly this is true. We need to slowly get gears that have the stats we need for frost to make it really shine. At the moment covenant and pvp gears are indeed not what frost needs to really maximize procs and maximize the damage these procs do.
I myself am now slowly trying to get more mastery gears to replace some of my vers. Hope the vault gods will be merciful haha
Gearing for Frost, even though I said pvp people are getting different stats like vers and mastery to boost their burst window but lets just ignore that and focus on this one section of my post out of context, is pretty poor. You either have to get the drop from the dungeon, or hope you get it from the Great Vault. The only thing good that comes from the Covenant, at least for DW and at least in terms of Kyrian, is the weapons from the tokens you get from the raid. You would still need to find 10 other items with the stats that Frost would want from M+ which could last anywhere from 10+ weeks depending on how some people are doing the great vault because farming M+ is pointless for the majority of people and only getting 35 anima, or you are extremely lucky in drops.

Yo, I promise I’m not talking about PvP. You need to apply that pressure on those PvE mobs. Show those NPC’s a thing or two. Get 'em scared.
And what exactly is wrong with the post? Spell it out and not in a “im going to ruin this fool” type of way.
Don’t tell Kell that this is also what every other class is doing as well with stacking vers over other stats in pvp that Kell would deem worthy for those specs as well

Vers and mastery are your main secondary stats for frost for PvP. So to say;
is fundamentally wrong.

Thats what you want for your burst windows, so you arent telling me anything that I havent already said. So tell me, what is wrong with what was in that post? In how Frost is designed, you want crit for KM procs so that you can have reliable Obliterate damage right? Thats why you are taking Obliteration, because you want KM procs and it gives it to you for using an ability instead of getting a crit. But, lets just go to the PvP vendor and see how many items have both Versatility and Mastery on them. No 2h item from the pvp vendor doesnt actually have vers and mastery on it but there is a 1h. Helm has it, a cloak has it, one ring has it and its unique equipped so you can only have one, one neck has it, and thats it.
So no, its not fundamentally wrong. As a 2h frost, you would have 4 items that would have the stats that you actually want from the pvp vendor, for pvp.
But, it still doesnt have the stats that you would want with the design of Frost. Frosts design puts a lot of pressure on getting KM procs, which is why you take Obliteration. Otherwise your Obliterate hits for nothing, and thats not something that you need to go do H Nathria or 2600 Arena to figure out.
So no, im not fundamentally wrong, you just have this piss poor mentality of “im going to ruin this guy” and have admitted to “just call them out at every chance I get”.
So pvp gear is not geared for Frost in terms of PvE, or PvP. Shocker, I wasnt actually wrong.

Well scoot on over to the arena forums and tell all of the people who managed to just barely or have reached gladiator on all of their classes including dk about how to gear properly for their class.

Nope. Your kill window is not random KM procs. Your kill windows are your setups. If you were to stack crit, you neuter your go. GG dude, you played yourself. You don’t win arenas by auto-attacking hoping you get a few KM procs outside of Pillar.
Maybe you should actually go to the PvP vendor and check. This is commical.

You think you know the pvp scene and how it works, fundamentally, but you clearly don’t.
You have lots of people here who does pvp a lot more than you do trying to tell you how it works out. I haven’t done pvp as much as I use to, but I still at least keep myself informed about the things going on with the classes that I play in both pve and pvp to the point where I know that when you try to do things as you do in pve in a pvp setting (gearing, talent set up, rotations and priorities) then you are just asking to get blasted into oblivion.
