Im guessing the % buffs is to avoid having to in-depth with each lower performing spec and fix the troubles…that or they are formulating a big nerf on the overperforming specs in the future.

EDIT: In all seriousness, we’re slowly getting there. Any DK buffs are welcome, even as small as 2% for 2H Frost. Could always use more to support our cause to preserve Arthas’ Legacy. :slight_smile:

Prediction, people are still going to complain about something, like the 5% buff being better for DW due to having 2 runeforges.

I mean, of course it doesn’t address the larger problems frost has, but this will do a lot to bring it closer to unholy. There will still be disparity between DW and 2H frost.

Still, this is a decent step in the right direction and no doubt we’ll start to see a better mix of unholy/frost players

Why not , makes the synergy between fdk and warriors improve.

Ww Monk fdk hpal seems the meta. With some improvements in arms can switch back to old school warrior fdk hpal. Some of us oldies like to play with a warrior :joy: Tsg representation in AWC wasn’t very good tbh.

It’s an overall net buff, don’t get me wrong.

But it will feel bad to go against arms warriors especially with 50% pvp ds nerf. At least they’re not busted as Rets.

In fact, I don’t fight warriors enough to determine the call but at least they don’t global me hard as rets do.

Their spears and bladestorm is annoying though.

Problem is when ret has wings many melee tries to pump damage through bro. Never ends well, even if counter defensives like ams or ibf used.

This is a time where they should be cc’ing or disarming the ret. the damage we do during wings is really very good.

Survivability for ret has been toned down a lot due to wog nerf, but this will push less offhealing as it makes more sense to pump damage through due to very small heals ret are doing now with wog so instead of wog most of rets will FV/TV instead. There will probably more complains by more classes on damage from ret very soon :sweat_smile:

I mean, obviously its not going to solve mechanical stuff. A patch is what throws those things through.

In the meantime; a small boost is a small boost. I’ll take it.

I would hope but unfortunately, a big part is that kit-wise unholy fits better for CN and just scales way better. Still, I welcome it with hopeful changes in the future for 9.1 since it shows that they acknowledge that there are changes needed for the spec. It will be nice for those true frost bois still staying strong with the spec and it should help in pvp for a bit.
